strengthening our our our foothold in in in in in in the the the the local market market Our deep understanding of o the the the the industry will enable our our new clients to offer their guests a a a a a a a a a a modern and and unforgettable guest guest digital experience powered by innovative technology Having an an an established presence in in in in in 4* and 5* hotels hotels we turned our focus towards mid- sized hotels hotels hotels in in in in in in 2019
We made great strides in in in in in in building an an an an “As-a-service” model for hotels hotels with with smaller budgets but who still don’t want to fall behind the technological curve They can now benefit from efficient technology and remote services without the the the need to invest huge sums of capital This business model bridges the the the digital gap for smaller hotels and helps them reach new audiences We seamlessly and and successfully leveraged our expertise in in in in industries beyond hospitality hospitality and and onboarded 14 non-hospitality clients including the Central Water Authority (CWA) for for whom we delivered a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a major Firewall project in in in in in in collaboration with Emtel Penetrating the the the corporate market is a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a natural progression for for us us as as an an an increasing number of of businesses are becoming cognizant of of the the the competitive edge they can gain through digitalisation In 2019
we we were approached by one one of of our international partners HPE Aruba to design a a a a a a a a a a Wi-Fi Wi-Fi solution for the the the the Centre Hospitalier de de de Mayotte This project project is is is one one of of the the the the biggest Wi-Fi Wi-Fi projects in in in in the the the the Southern Hemisphere with over 900 Access Points deployed in in in in a a a a a single location Though our activities are are not inherently polluting we we we recognise that that we we we have an an impact on on the the environment In 2019
we we we carefully selected a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a variety of o plants that that create a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a natural oxygen recycling pump improving the the indoor air quality in in in in in in our our office and allowing us to offset our our carbon footprint Power consumption has been effectively reduced reduced by by opting for natural airflow instead o of of an air-cooling system As a a a a a a a a a a a a result the the number of of sick leaves reduced reduced reduced by by 15% At the the same time our our employees benefit from a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a greener more pleasant work environment environment We also reduced reduced our our environmental impact by reducing paper and safely disposing of electronic waste INTEGRATED REPORT 2019
